Focus Group Holdings (Focus), is a £70 million turnover company that holds
the UK license for such sportswear brands as Converse, Ecko, Le Coq Sportif,
Head, and Hummel. Focus has two offices in the UK and operations in Hong Kong
and Indonesia.
Focus required a software solution that could link all of their offices and
merge all systems onto one platform. Before installing Aria, the company's old
systems were a mixture of standalone packages, such as Varnet and Sage, and
numerous Access databases and spreadsheets.
After almost a year of carefully evaluating alternatives, Focus chose Aria
over several other apparel systems providers. The impetus behind their decision
was the end-to-end functionality and ease of use of the Aria product suite, as
well as the ability to hold all information in a central database and present it
in a comprehensive view, accessible by any member of the group with sufficient
user privileges.
An initial 40-user system, installed at the company's UK headquarters, went
live in June, while the remaining locations are scheduled to go live in the next
few months.
